Surveying services.

We pride ourselves on our easy to understand, jargon free, bespoke survey reports. Our motto is “Keep it Simple”.  Each report is written and compiled by the qualified surveyor who carried out the survey on site. We do not use data based computer programs, consequently the reports are relevant, straightforward and easy to understand in the format or layout agreed with our client. We also believe the value of our reports is not down to the amount of paper used, we believe the value is in the reports ease of use.

Our range of surveys range from a simple home buyers survey to commercial dilapidation and management reports and major demolition projects. All surveys are carried out to HSE guidance HSG264 (Jan 2010) and our NEBOSH qualified staff ensure compliance with all relevant current safety regulations for each individual site.

The survey process usually begins with a site visit to assess the scope of the survey and gather information such as site plans, history of the building and equipment requirements. This information is then used to carry out a desktop analysis of the site to develop the survey plan and method statement, risk assessment etc, copies of which are sent to the client and other interested parties prior to commencement of the survey.

All surveys are carried out under controlled conditions suitable for the site, the client’s requirements and the conditions the survey team have to work in. In line with all HSE guidance, all surveys are carried out by teams of at least two people on site, consisting of a lead surveyor with at least five years experience and qualified to BOHS P402 and S301 and a trainee or assistant. We also have staff trained in the use of MEWPs, working at height and confined spaces. Our vehicles are equipped with their own independent power source to power site lighting and H-type vacs etc and carry a full range of survey equipment from endoscopes to sledge hammers.
